Essential Functions
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting with product selection, answering inquiries, and processing orders.
- Conduct quality control checks on outgoing materials to ensure accuracy and satisfaction.
- Perform daily dock checks to monitor inventory levels and product availability.
- Maintain regular communication with customers to follow up on deliveries, solicit orders, and address any concerns.
- Collaborate with the production team regarding product salability and inventory management.
- Monitor inventory accuracy, including distribution of availability and future crops.
- Track customer shipments and communicate any changes or delays promptly.
- Assist with scheduling customer pickups and coordinating logistics.
- Prepare and distribute weekly photos of plant material to sales representatives and customers.
- Attend trade shows and visit customers as needed to promote products and strengthen relationships.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the sales team and overall operations.
Desired Job Skills
- Experience in inside sales, horticulture, or customer service.
- Knowledge of woody ornamentals, roses, and perennials.
- Proficiency in Excel is preferred
- Valid driver's license
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new products and technologies.
