We are currently seeking a full time, year round Handyman/Maintenance Technician. The ideal applicant will be a self-starter who is passionately about their work. The Handymanwill be responsible for maintaining and repairing company equipment, vehicles, buildings, and facilities. This person will be accountable for addressing the maintenance needs of all company-owned houses, offices, and related systems on a scheduled and as-needed basis. This person will be accountable for being at all job-sites and observing equipment while it is in use to ensure that all maintenance needs are accounted for, equipment is operating correctly, handling adjustments and maintenance needs on-site, and training employees in real-time on the correct operation and use of equipment.
Specific Accountabilities:
· Ensure the facility and grounds are in proper condition. Property includes, but is not limited to:
- Greenhouses and heaters
- Farm improvement projects
- Drainage systems
- Lawn mowing
- General facility maintenance
- HVAC
- Well water treatment
- Appliances
- Plumbing
- Electrical
- Potting and soil mixing machines
- Pruning machines
- Irrigation booms
- IPM sprayers, drenching equipment, mechanized herbicide applicators
- Loaders, bulldozers, mini-excavators, road graders, RTV’s and other utility vehicles
- Heaters
- Conveyor belts
- Other equipment, as needed

Education:
- High school or equivalent (Required)
Experience:
- Maintenance: 1 year (Required)
- Mechanical knowledge: 1 year (Required)
- Hydraulics: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- Driver’s License (Required)
